Handsworth Grange Community Sports College, Sheffield

When Handsworth Grange was placed in Special Measures, the headteacher and staff were committed to tackle areas for improvement and reverse the decline in attainment and achievement. Eighteen months later Handsworth was judged a strongly improving school no longer requiring Special Measures. The headteacher is clear about the central role SIMS played.

“SIMS allows us to get on with the core business of teaching and learning. Its pupil performance data means that every child can have support when and where it is most needed.” Ms A Quaile, Headteacher
