Rutlish School, South London

Rutlish had serious issues with behaviour management, poor attendance and needed to improve its tracking of performance and achievement. An ineffective ‘pink slip’ system for recording behavioural incidents was replaced by SIMS Behaviour Management and Lesson Monitor and a behaviour points system has also had impressive results.

Rutlish continued its year-on-year improvement with its fourth successive improved results at GCSE. This marks an improvement of 79% over four years and makes Rutlish a strong candidate for inclusion in the prestigious BBC’s 100 Most Improved Schools list.
