Throughout 2019, we’re looking for better ways to get in touch with more of our customers and SIMS users to help you meet your challenges and harness the power of your school data.
Rather than attending 2019’s edition of the education technology trade show Bett, we’re looking to do things differently this year, with a greater focus on local and regional activities, in addition to more online and on-demand content.
We also want to hear from you to let us know what types of content you’d like from us and what we can do to keep you up to date in the best way possible.
In August 2018, the Education Secretary, Damian Hinds, challenged the tech industry to find new ways to support the education sector and make the best use of recent advances in technology.
Inspired by that challenge, and on behalf of the Department for Education, the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA) is facilitating a series of roadshows in 2019. These events have been designed to help school leaders and ICT leads access the next generation of technologies to support teachers and deliver improved outcomes for pupils.
Capita SIMS will be attending these roadshows, which have been scheduled for locations across England. Take a look at the following list to find your nearest event.
- Roadshow Dates
- Newcastle, 18th January
- Cambridge, 8th February
- Manchester, 14th March
- Coventry, 22nd March
- Maidstone, 25th April
- Bristol, 6th June

We understand that our customers and SIMS users access the news, initiatives and guidance of their choice via a wide range of online and printed resources.
As such, we’re looking to create long-lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships with some of the most popular and recognisable content providers, so you can access resources supporting your requirements and initiatives in a way and at a time that suits you best.
You can see an example of this kind of partnership in action with the new TES Capita Reading Cloud content hub, which can be viewed here.
