Schools play an essential role in keeping children safe in education, but the impact of safeguarding practice doesn’t just affect learning in the classroom – providing learners with the right support, at the right time, can have a life-long impact, that can increase the likelihood of successful adult lives.

School safeguarding is continuously evolving which means schools are needing to adapt to new issues quickly. In this first video of three, we discuss the definition of safeguarding, how schools are responsible and the main issues schools are facing within their safeguarding strategy.
