Bett 2013 is almost here. Taking place next week, the educational technology event of the year is set to be bigger and better than ever.
We’re really excited about the upcoming show. Not only is it taking place at a new venue – the multi award-winning ExCeL in London’s Docklands – but we’ve a new stand at location B250. More than double the size of last year’s and complete with a vibrant new look, we’re counting down the days to when we can reveal it and welcome you to it. But for now, here's a sneak peek from behind the scenes of the stand being built.
So what are we all about at this year’s show?
Once again, we are partnering with Capita IT Services to meet all your school’s technology needs and our theme is to ‘be outstanding’. We’ll be focused on emerging technology and how it can help raise standards in leadership, day-to-day school management, teaching and learning. Throughout the show, we’ll have a team of experts on the stand so come on over for a chat or a browse.
3 highlights of SIMS at Bett
- The official launch of SIMS Agora
We’re really excited about the unveiling of our new product, SIMS Agora. Available to see in action for the first time at Bett, our new online payment solution allows parents to order and pay for school meals, trips and uniforms securely online. Stay tuned for a sneak preview coming soon to Inside SIMS.
- Interactive SIMS Discover presentation area
We’ll have a dedicated area for our award-winning SIMS Discover. You’ll be able to check out the data-analysis tool through an interactive touch screen display to see exactly what it can do and speak to practioners using Discover in their schools. A finalist in the ‘Innovation in ICT’ category at this year’s Bett Awards, we’re also looking forward to see if we win!
- Bring your own devices (BYOD)
Another highlight of this year is our brand new innovation zone. You can bring along your own laptop, tablet or Smartphone and try out the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) environment.
