GEMS Education is an international company with schools and education services in 14 countries. Based originally in Dubai, the organisation now works with 250 schools, teaching six different curricula to around 190,000 students.
Before Ian Stewart Jones became Principal and CEO of GEMS Education in 2013, a number of schools were already using SIMS, but without any consistency across the group. Some were using legacy, manual systems, with an inconsistent approach to managing information.
In this case study, Ian outlines how SIMS worked with GEMS Education to roll out a consistent system across schools in quick and cost-effective manner that supported the schools’ changing needs.
Across 16 GEMS schools, a number of core SIMS modules have been put to use, including SIMS Assessment, SIMS Discover and the SIMS Teacher app.
