The lack of a set formula for multi-academy trusts may sometimes feel like everything needs to be invented from scratch. But it can also be a good thing, because it means that you can create a MAT that entirely meets the objectives that you have set for it.
These were just one of the issues discussed at Capita’s Strength in Numbers conference. The conference, run by Capita SIMS, was designed to be a forum for sharing expertise between multi-academy trusts.
With this in mind two workshops were undertaken with multi-academy trust leaders to share the collective expertise of the attendees. One on effective governance and one on the use of data to help share ideas and solutions to common problems across federations and trusts. We have shared the results in this report.
